Bulldogs pick up doubleheader sweep of Crowley's Ridge
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 4-0 on the season with a doubleheader sweep of Crowley's Ridge, 9-2 and 3-2.
Holmes will play again in Goodman on Feb. 25 vs. Blue Mountain in a 1/4 p.m. doubleheader.
In game one, Tyler Dobson picked up the win. He went 1 2/3 innings and had four strikeouts and one walk and gave up two hits. Taj Porter, Chris Guthrie, Eric Jones and Ethan Gowan also saw action in the game.
Cole Johnson had two hits for the Bulldogs including a triple and a double.
In game two, Dalton Massingill picked up the win. He went 2 2/3 innings with two strikeouts. Jaylen Armstrong, Dylan Ramsey and Eric Jones also saw action in the game.
Cole Johnson, Albert Hughes and Jonathan Evans each had a hit in the game.
