Bulldogs take two from Crowley's Ridge

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 20-4 with two wins over Crowley's Ridge College here Monday in Goodman winning 21-5 and 20-0.

Holmes travels to Itawamba Wednesday for a 3/6 doubleheader before going to Hinds on Saturday at 2/5 p.m.

In game one, Tyler Dobson picked up the win to go to 3-0 on the season. He went five innings and gave up two runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and one walk. Ethan Gowan and Dylan Ramsey also pitched in the game.

Jordan Szush led the Bulldogs with three hits while Cade Pinnix, Walker Yuille, Austin Telano, Hunter Dykes and Bryland Skinner each had two. Skinner added a triple wile Pinnix, Yuille, Telano and Dykes each doubled.

In game two, Chris Guthrie picked up the win. He went two innings and had three strikeouts and one walk. Eric Jones and Dylan Ramsey also pitched in the game.

Szush led the Bulldogs with three hits while Cole Johnson, Payton Hanson and Dykes each had two hits. Hanson had a triple while Szush had a double.
