Bulldogs fall twice to Hinds Eagles

RAYMOND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell twice here Friday to the Hinds Community College Eagles, 15-6 and 12-5.

With the losses, the Bulldogs fell to 21-7 and 4-6 in the MACJC. Holmes travels to Northwest on Tuesday for a 3/6 p.m. doubleheader before returning home on Saturday vs. Meridian at 1/4 p.m.

In game one, Anthony Fidanza suffered the loss. He went 1/3 of an inning and gave up six runs on three hits with one strikeout and one walk. Kameron Ferguson, Jaylen Armstrong and Eric Jones also pitched in the game.

Hunter Dykes led the Bulldogs with two hits.

In game two, Payton Hanson suffered the loss. He went four innings and gave up six runs on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Albert Hughes, Tyler Dobson, Dylan Ramsey and Armstrong also pitched in the game.

Jimmy Burse and Austin Telano each had two hits. Walker Yuille added a two-run homerun.
