GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs lost a heartbreaker here Thursday to the Hinds Community College Bulldogs, 86-81.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fell to 6-5 overall. Holmes will not play again until Jan. 7 when the Bulldogs travel to Hinds in Utica for the rematch. Holmes will then play Southwest on Jan. 10 at home.
Hinds led by as much as 13 points in the game. Demarcus Lewis led the Bulldogs with 26 points while DeAndre Scott had 16 and Tamarico Wilson had 14. Lewis had 10 rebounds in the game.
