GOODMAN --- The No. 13 Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up an 87-66 win here Saturday night over the Southern Arkansas University Tech Rockets.
The Bulldogs will return to action on January 5 in Goodman vs. Delgado Community College at 4 p.m.
Holmes led 46-36 at halftime and then outscored the Rockets 41-30 in the second half to preserve the win.
The Bulldogs shot 48.3 percent from the floor and 74.3 percent from the free-throw line.
Kassim Nicholson led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Winford Ross had 15, Aaron Johnson 14 and Tanorrio Ransburgh had 13.
