GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 7-3 on the season after picking up an 81-73 win over the Delgado Community College Dolphins here Saturday.
Holmes returns to action on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. versus LSU-Eunice in Goodman. Holmes will also host East Mississippi Community College in the North Division opener at 8 p.m. in Goodman. You can watch both games at holmesccmedia.com.
The Bulldogs led 36-35 at halftime, and the Bulldogs then outscored the Dolphins 45-38 in the second half.
Kassim Nicholson led the Bulldogs with 19 points while Winford Ross had 15, Czar Perry had 13 and Tanorrio Ransburgh had 10. Nicholson had 15 rebounds, and Ross had nine.
The Bulldogs shot 48.3 percent from the floor in the game.
