Lester and Lewis to represent Holmes in Mullen's Junior College Invitational

GOODMAN --- Josiah Lewis of Grenada and Jaylen Lester of Durant, two Holmes Community College sophomores, have been invited to the 2019 Mullen's Premier Junior College Invitational July 12-14.

The event will be held at Game On in Fort Worth, Texas.

Lewis and Lester both played in 27 games for the Bulldogs last season. Holmes was the runner-up in the Region XXIII Tournament.

Lester, a 6'0 guard, averaged 5.8 points per game. He shot 36.6 percent from the floor (52-of-142), 37.7 percent from three-point range (40-of-106) and 81.3 percent from free-throw line (13-of-16). He averaged 1.6 rebounds per game.

Lewis, a 6'6 forward, averaged 2.5 points per game. He shot 58.7 percent from the floor (27-of-46) and 63.6 percent from the free-throw line (14-of-22). He averaged two rebounds per game.
