GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to .500 in the North Division here Monday night with a 78-56 win over the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 9-4 overall and 1-1 in the North. Holmes travels to Coahoma on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
Holmes led 41-22 at halftime and then outscored the Trojans 37-34 in the second half for the win.
Brandon Weatherspoon led the Bulldogs with 25 points including four three-pointers. Tyler Talley and Tyler Williams each had 13 points while Kaleb Higgins had 11.
The Bulldogs shot 50 percent from the floor (27-of-54) and 38.1 percent from the three-point line (8-of-21).
