Bulldogs knock off the Trojans, 74-66

MOORHEAD --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a big North Division contest here Thursday night at Mississippi Delta Community College, 74-66.

With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 11-9 overall and 3-5 in the North. Holmes hosts Coahoma in a North Division contest at 7:30 p.m. Monday. You can watch the game live at holmesccmedia.com/white-channel. You can also watch on your Amazon Fire Stick or Roku devices.

Holmes led 43-36 at halftime and 31-30 in the second half to pick up the win.

Brandon Weatherspoon led the Bulldogs with 22 points while Josiah Lewis and Kaleb Higgins each had 12 points. Lewis led the Bulldogs with nine rebounds.

The Bulldogs shot 42.9 percent from the floor (27-of-63), 30.8 percent from the three-point line (4-of-13) and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line (16-of-22).
