DECATUR --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 1-2-1 on the season here Wednesday with a 3-2 overtime win over the East Central Warriors.
Holmes hosts Northwest on Friday at Freedom Ridge at 3 p.m. in a division matchup.
Holmes got on the scoreboard first on a goal from Andres Mendez and an assist from Juan Molina in the 12th minute. East Central tied the match and took a 2-1 lead before Brady Jacobs scored on a Mendez assist tied the match in the 59th minute. Michael Gonzalez scored in the 93rd minute to give the Bulldogs the win.
