SCOOBA --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs split two games here Wednesday falling 6-0 and winning 6-2.
The Lady Bulldogs went to 7-22 overall in the MACJC. Holmes hosts Meridian on Saturday at 1/3 p.m.
In game one, Mary Clayton Burrell suffered the loss. She went 1/3 of an inning and gave up three runs on four hits. Katie Dana went 5 2/3 innings and gave up three runs on four hits with three strikeouts and one walk.
Skyler Busbea and Lexie Bounds each had a double.
In game two, Brooklyne Eubanks picked up the win. She went seven innings and gave up two runs on six hits with two strikeouts. Busbea, Bounds and Summer Jordan each had two hits. Teagun Barnes, Laura Fields and Bounds each had a double.
