Lady Bulldogs fall twice to East Central
DECATUR --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs lost two games here Monday to East Central Community College, 12-4 and 10-2.
With the losses, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 10-29 overall and 6-14 in the MACJC. Holmes travels to Mississippi Delta on Wednesday at 2/4 p.m. and travels to Hinds on Saturday at 2/4 p.m.
In game one, Brooklyne Eubanks suffered the loss. She went 5 1/3 innings and gave up 12 runs on 11 hits with two walks. Ceilidh Dalton and Adyson Mann each had two hits with both players adding a double.
In game two, Katie Dana suffered the loss. She went four innings and gave up 10 runs on eight hits with one strikeout and two walks. Dana, Dalton, Kailey Chachere and Jolie Smith each had one hit with Smith having a double.
