Holmes falls to Hinds, 10-4 and 5-3
RAYMOND --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell twice here Saturday to the Hinds Community College Lady Eagles, 10-4 and 5-3.
With the losses, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 12-31 on the season and 8-16 in the MACJC. Holmes hosts Northeast on Tuesday at 2/4 p.m. and Co-Lin at 2/4 p.m. Friday.
In game one, Brooklyne Eubanks suffered the loss. She pitched six innings and gave up 10 runs on 11 hits with four strikeouts and three walks. Adyson Mann led the Lady Bulldogs with three hits. Teagun Barnes had a solo homerun.
In game two, Mary Clayton Burrell suffered the loss. She went 4 2/3 innings and gave up five runs on 11 hits with two strikeouts. Katie Dana also pitched in the game. Kailey Chachere and Ceilidh Dalton each had two hits with Chachere adding a double.
