Lady Bulldogs split with Co-Lin to end the season

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs split two games here Friday with the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves, 2-1 in eight innings and 11-2.

With the split, the Lady Bulldogs ended the season at 13-34 overall and 9-19 in the MACJC.

In game one, Brooklyne Eubanks went all eight innings picking up the win. She gave up one run on five hits with seven strikeouts and no walks. Lexie Bounds led the Lady Bulldogs with two hits while Hannah Champion added a double. Champion's double drove in Bounds and Jolie Smith to win the game in the bottom of the eighth.

In game two, Katie Dana went four innings. She gave up 11 runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and one walk. Eubanks went one inning and had a strikeout and a walk. Skyler Busbea led the Lady Bulldogs with two hits including a double.
