MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to Southwest Tenn., 68-58, in overtime here Tuesday night.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 1-5 overall. Holmes hosts Baton Rouge at 6 p.m. on Thursday and Southern Arkansas University Tech on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Southwest led 17-16 after one period and 28-25 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs went up 38-36 after three periods before Southwest tied the game in the fourth period by outscoring Holmes 14-12. Southwest outscored Holmes 18-8 in overtime.
Jekalen Jones led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points while Janae Collier had 13 and Brysa Maxwell had 12. Jones had nine rebounds.
