UTICA --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to 3-6 overall here Thursday night after falling to the Hinds Community College Lady Bulldogs, 77-67.
The Lady Bulldogs will return to action on Jan. 5 vs. Delgado Community College at 2 p.m. You can watch the game live at holmesccmedia.com.
Holmes led 17-16 after one period before Hinds took a 36-28 lead going into halftime. Hinds then outscored Holmes 25-18 in the third to go up 61-46 after three periods. Holmes outscored Hinds, 21-16, in the fourth period, but it wasn't enough to pull out the win.
Janae Collier led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points while Koryana Johnson had 15 and Jekalen Jones had 1. Collier led the Lady Bulldogs with six rebounds.
