DECATUR --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to 2-6 on the season here last night with a 71-53 loss to the East Central Community College Lady Warriors.
Holmes travels to Baton Rouge on Thursday and Delgado on Friday at 5:30 p.m. to finish out this week's action.
East Central led by one, 13-12, after one period of play and increased the lead to seven, 30-23, at halftime. Holmes outscored East Central, 18-16, in the third before East Central took the fourth period, 25-12.
Brysa Maxwell led the Lady Bulldogs with 13 points and 11 rebounds while Gabrielle Bunch had 10 points. Jamaya Redd had seven rebounds.
