Lady Bulldogs fall to Lady Trojans, 56-53

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to 0-2 in the North Division here Monday night after dropping a contest to the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans, 56-53.

Holmes fell to 4-9 overall. Holmes travels to Coahoma on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Holmes led 19-13 after one period and 28-21 at halftime. Delta outscored Holmes in the third, 17-12, and 18-13, in the fourth to pull out the win.

Gabrielle Bunch and Morgan Williams each led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points while Jalaceia Smith had 10.
