CLARKSDALE --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs jumped out early and hung on here Thursday night for a 46-44 win over the Coahoma Community College Lady Tigers in North Division action.

The Lady Bulldogs led 13-3 and 24-12 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs increased their lead to 14 points in the second half, 26-12, before the Lady Tigers battled back. Coahoma took the third period, 20-12, and 12-10 to bring the game to within two points at the end.
Shawanda Gray led the Lady Bulldogs with 15 points while Jalaceia Smith had 10. Brysa Maxwell pulled in eight rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs.
