WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs got their first win of the season here Tuesday afternoon and Coach James Gledhill got his first win as head coach over the Lady Wolves of Copiah-Lincoln 5-0.
With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improved to 1-1 on the season.
Shannon Locke led the Lady Bulldogs with three goals in the contest while Jenna Ceravolo and Brittany Cochran added another. Ceravolo had two assists while Locke, Danielle Rice and Aneese Jaffery each had one.
In a match on Friday versus Southwest, the Lady Bulldogs fell 3-0.
The Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to travel to Pearl River on Friday at 2 p.m.
