DECATUR --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs went to 1-1 in the North Division here Wednesday with a 4-2 win over the East Central Community College Lady Warriors.
With the win, the Lady Bulldogs went to 3-2 overall.
Jenna Ceravolo scored three goals for the Lady Bulldogs. The first score came in the first two minutes of the match on an assist from Ashley Locke. East Central scored in the 19th minute to tie the game at one. Ceravolo's second goal came with 49 seconds left in the first half on an assist from Rachel Geissler. The score was 2-1 at halftime.
In the second half, Locke got a goal on an assist from Ceravolo in the 50th minute. East Central added their second goal in the 57th minute of the match. The Lady Bulldogs increased the lead to 4-1 when Ceravolo scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute.
The Lady Bulldogs host the Lady Rangers of Northwest on Friday at 2 p.m. at Freedom Ridge Park.
