RIDGELAND -- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell here Tuesday in the play-in game for the MACJC State Soccer Tournament.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs ended the season with an overall record of 8-6-2 and 4-3-2 in the North Division.
Gulf Coast took the lead in the 18th minute of the match. Holmes tied the match in the 62nd minute on a goal by Mara Baker.
Playing with only 10 players, Gulf Coast then reeled off two goals in three minutes to pull out the win. Gulf Coast advances to this weekend's MACJC State Tournament at Hinds.
