RAYMOND --- Despite a delayed start here Friday night due to weather, the Hinds Community College Lady Eagles scored a goal in the first half of play to defeat the Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs, 1-0.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fall to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the North Division. Holmes host Cedar Valley on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Lady Bulldogs then travel to Itawamba Friday to continue division play at 2 p.m.
