RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up a season-opening victory over the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears, 2-0.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Pearl River on Friday at 2 p.m. at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland.
Micaela Robinson got the Lady Bulldogs on the scoreboard in the sixth minute on an assist from Logan Yeatman. Jaci Murphy added the second goal in the 14th minute on an assist from Kaylee Butts.
