RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 10-0-1 on the season and 5-0-1 in the North Division here Friday on the Ridgeland Campus with a 2-0 win over the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers.
The Lady Bulldogs travel to Hinds Community College on Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. and then round out the regular season at Itawamba Community College on Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.
The contest was 0-0 after the first 45 minutes of play. Taylor Gagneaux got the Lady Bulldogs on the scoreboard just 3:44 into the second half in the 48th minute of play off an assist from Brooke Burrell.
Pepper Ann Filbert then added the final goal in the 56th minute of the match.
