RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-0 on the season with a 5-0 win here Friday over the Pearl River Community College Lady Wildcats.
Zoe Ellis got the Lady Bulldogs on the scoreboard in the 6th minute on an assist from Isabella Wade.
The Lady Bulldogs then went up 2-0 on a goal from Peyton Montgomery on an assist from Kya Davis in the 8th minute.
Pepper Ann Filbert put the Lady Bulldogs up 3-0 in the 64th minute before Ellis scored her second goal of the match in the 67th minute. Ja'Laycia Brown stole the ball from the keeper and scored in the 72nd minute to end the scoring.
