Roman signs with Mississippi University for Women soccer program

Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs soccer player Jazmin Roman signed a letter of intent with Mississippi University for Women on Jan. 24. She will continue as a midfielder for the MUW Owls.

"Jazmin is a player that every coach wants on their team," said Women's Soccer Associate Head Coach Wesley Noble. "She has an extremely high work rate that not only pushes herself each day but the players around her. Off the field, she is first class. She has represented Holmes in the highest way possible, and I expect her to do the exact same at The W. I am extremely happy for her and can't wait to see what she accomplishes in this next step of her journey."

The daughter of Arely and David Roman, Jazmin is a graduate of Forest High School. She is active on the Holmes Ridgeland Campus, serving as an Ambassador and president of Student Government Association. She will continue her studies at MUW in secondary education with an emphasis in physical education/kinesiology.
