DECATUR --- The No. 15 ranked Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in the North Division here Wednesday afternoon with a 6-2 win over the Lady Warriors of East Central Community College.
Holmes hosts Northwest on Friday at 1 p.m. at Freedom Ridge Park in a North Division matchup.
Cariel Ellis followed up last Friday's four-goal day against Itawamba with three goals vs. East Central. Ellis scored goals in the 4th minute, 18th minute and 80th minute of the match. She had one assist in the match. Laney Smith had a goal in the 20th minute while Ja'Laycia Brown had a goal in the 31st minute and Cameron Gladney had a goal in the 62nd minute. Zoe Ellis had two assists while Smith had one and Kya Davis had one.
