Ellis receives NJCAA Offensive Player of the Week Award

RIDGELAND --- Freshman women's soccer player Cariel Ellis  has been named the NJCAA Division I Offensive Player of the Week for her play last week.

Ellis, a forward from Madison, who played at Madison Central, scored 10 goals. She took 30 shots and 22 on goal. Against Northwest last week, she had five goals in one match and then had a hat trick against Gordon State.

She received the NJCAA's first Player of the Week for 2019 back in September.
