Goalkeeper

Layken is a goalkeeper transfer from the University of North Georgia.  In high school she prepped at Warren Central where she won Most Valuable Player, Defender of the year (twice), and rookie of the year. She played club soccer the Mississippi Rush.  Her team won state cup and competed at US Youth Regionals on multiple occasions.  She was also selected to play with Rush National team in Sweden.

"Layken is a sure handed keeper that makes the routine saves as well as some remarkable ones.  She is very agile and covers a lot of ground.  I love how comfortable Layken is with her feet and her ability to play out.  It fits our style of play very well. What separates her the most in my opinion is her communication and confidence with her team. She does a good job organizing and making her backline stay in sync.  We are very excited to have Layken joining us moving forward!" Associate Head Coach Wesley Noble
