RIDGELAND -- The No. 2 Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs started off the 2021 season with a 2-0 win over the Pearl River Community College Lady Wildcats.
Holmes will play Gulf Coast on Thursday, April 8 at 2 p.m. in Ridgeland.
Neither team was able to score in the first half.
The Lady Bulldogs picked up two goals in the second half. The first goal came on a Jordan Patrick goal on a Laney Smith assist in the 66th minute. The Lady Bulldogs picked up the second goal when Kaci Craft netted a rebound off the post from Londyn Dorsey.
