Lady Bulldogs defeat Lady Indians, 6-2

FULTON --- The No. 2 Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 4-0 on the season here Tuesday with a 6-2 win over the Itawamba Community College Lady Indians.

With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improve to 2-0 in the North Division. Holmes will play at East Central on Friday at 1 p.m. You can watch the match live at https://eccclive.com/gold-channel/.

Itawamba jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Lady Bulldogs got on the scoreboard in the 19^th minute on a goal from Olivia Deslatte with an assist from Maddie Leber. The Lady Bulldogs then tied the match at two in the 26^th minute when Ravynne Wilson scored on an assist from Deslatte. Holmes took a 3-2 lead in the 34^th minute when Jordan Patrick scored on an assist from Deslatte.

Cariel Ellis scored in the 55^th minute on an assist from Mackenzie Thompson to put the Lady Bulldogs up 4-2. She scored again five minutes later on an assist from Cameron Gladney to put Holmes up 5-2. Megan Richardson scored in the 68^th minute on an assist from Ellis to round out the scoring at 6-2.
