DECATUR --- The No. 2 Holmes Community College and the East Central Community College Lady Warriors battled to a scoreless tie here Friday.
The Lady Bulldogs went to 4-0-1 on the season and will play Monday in Ridgeland at 4 p.m. vs. Northwest Mississippi Community College.
Holmes had 22 shots in the contest and 16 shots on goal but were unable to put one in the back of the net while East Central had eight shots and three on goal. Abbie Russell had three SOGs while Olivia Deslatte, Laney Smith, Mackenzie Thompson and Cariel Ellis each had two SOGs in the contest.
Carly Williams had three saves in the contest in 110 minutes.
