RIDGELAND --- The No. 4 Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs and the No. 9 Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers battled to a 1-1 tie here Friday.
The Lady Bulldogs will face Copiah-Lincoln at 1 p.m. Holmes went to 9-0-1 on the season and 4-0-1 in the MACCC.
Northwest scored in the 56th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
Darian Blackburn scored on an assist from Laila Anderson in the 63rd minute to tie the match at one. Neither team was able to score in the extra overtime periods.
