RIDGELAND --- The No. 4 Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 10-0-1 on the season and 5-0-1 in the MACCC with a 3-0 win over the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves here Tuesday.
Holmes will travel to Meridian on Friday at 5 p.m. and will then go to Birmingham on Sunday at 1 p.m. to play Gordon State College.
Laila Anderson scored on an assist from Brianna Lopez to put Holmes up 1-0 in the 44th minute and Holmes led 1-0 at halftime.
Lopez then scored in the 69th minute on an assist from Olivia Deslatte to go up 2-0. McKinney scored in the 86th minute on an assist from Lopez to end all scoring at 3-0.
