FULTON --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 14-0-1 with a 3-0 win here Tuesday over Itawamba Community College.
Holmes will play its final home regular season match at 3 p.m. Friday vs. Southwestern Illinois.
Callie McKinney scored on a Brianna Lopez assist in the first minute to go up 1-0.
Lopez scored on a Darian Blackburn assist in the 69th minute to go up 2-0. Jordan Patrick scored on a Kaci Craft assist to round out the scoring at 3-0.
Jordan Bertschler and Karly Murphy had one save each.
Against Southwest Saturday, Blackburn scored three goals to lead Holmes to a 6-0 win. She had two assisted and one unassisted goal. Assists came from Tailynn Remmel and Josephine Pittman.
Lopez scored in the 51st minute on an assist from Abbey Roberts. McKinney scored in the 59th minute on an assist from Lopez and Katelin Johnson scored on an assist from Mia Aviles in the 73rd minute.
Murphy had two saves vs. Southwest.
