PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The No. 5 ranked Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up a 2-1 win here Friday over Pensacola State College.
Holmes, now 3-1, will play in Champaign, Ill. on Sept. 7 and 8 vs. Parkland and Northeast. Both matches will be at noon.
The Lady Bulldogs took the 1-0 lead in the 15th minute on a Kristen Phillips goal on an assist from Christina Guzman. Holmes led 1-0 at the break.
Pensacola State tied the match in the 63rd minute before Holmes scored in the final minute on another Phillips goal on an assist from Olivia Tribolet.
