Heflin, La. native Audrey Young has joined the Holmes Community College Athletic Department as an assistant certified athletic trainer.

The Lakeside High School graduate holds bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Ark. and master’s degree in sports administration with honors from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Okla.

Prior to Holmes, Young served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

She holds the following credentials: Board of Certification for Athletic Training and Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Mississippi.
