Bio

Louisiana native Ernest W. “Buster” Bueche II begins his eighth season second stint at Holmes as an assistant certified athletic trainer. He spent the last 3 years as Head Athletic Trainer at Hinds Community College. 

Bueche came to Holmes from Donaldsonville, La. High School, where he served as the head athletic trainer. 

The 1997 East Ascension High School graduate holds a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Nicholls State University. He also spent three years in the Navy and one at Nicholls State University before getting his bachelor’s degree at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Bueche and his wife, Tracy, have two sons, Coby and Brenden.
