Bulldogs get doubleheader sweep of Blue Mountain

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 6-0 on the season with two 7-0 win over Blue Mountain College here Tuesday.

Holmes will play at Williams Baptist College Thursday at 1/4 p.m. before travleling to Nunez on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

In game one, Anthony Fidanza picked up the win on the mound. He went three innings and gave up one hit with three strikeouts and one walk. Kameron Ferguson, Chris Guthrie and Steven Lacey also saw action on the hill for the Bulldogs.

Jaylan Armstrong led the Bulldogs with a triple while Fidanza had a double.

In game two, Albert Hughes picked up the win on the mound. He went three innings with three strikeouts and one walk. Dalton Massingill, Nate Oswalt and R.J. Pierce also saw action on the hill for the Bulldogs.

Armstrong had a homerun for the Bulldogs while Cole Johnson, Jimmy Burse, Cade Pinnix and Tyler Dobson each had a double.
