Bulldogs fall in DH vs. Co-Lin

WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell here Sunday to the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves, 13-12 and 11-1.

Holmes will play Southwest in Summit on Saturday at 2/5 p.m.

In game one, Matthew Koch got the start and went 5 2/3 innings. He gave up nine runs on 13 hits with one strikeout and three walks. Jackson Dollar suffered the loss.  He gave up four runs on two hits with two strikeouts and two walks.

Cameron Pilgram led the Bulldogs with four hits including two doubles. Reese Smith and Hayden Beall each had three hits with Smith adding a triple. Cole Drake added two hits with a homerun.

In game two, Cordarius Brown got the start and went 1 2/3 innings and gave up two runs on two hits with one walk and suffered the loss. Brody Wilkins went two innings and gave up six runs on five hits while Jake McKay went 1/3 of an inning and Will Cook went 1 1/3 innings.

Kenneth Moore and Beall each had two hits.
