POPLARVILLE --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell here Saturday to Pearl River Community College, 12-1 and 9-2.
Holmes hosts Miss. Delta Tuesday at 2 p.m. in a MACCC doubleheader.
In game one, Abbott Hankins got the start and suffered the loss. R.J. Merriman and Cameron Pilgrim also pitched in the game. Hayden Beall led the Bulldogs with two hits with a double.
In game two, Jaden Clinton got the start and suffered the loss. Jackson Dollar, Connor Wallace and Austin Russell also pitched in the game. Leland Selby and Carson Buckner each had a double.
