Bulldogs get wins over Delta and Coahoma

CLARKSDALE --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up two win here Tuesday over Mississippi Delta, 18-10 and Coahoma, 9-2.

Holmes will play Southeastern on Sunday at 12/3 p.m. in Goodman.

Cole Moudy got the start against Mississippi Delta and went 3 2/3 innings and gave up five runs on five hits with one strikeout and two walks. Holton Hartzog picked up the win in 2 1/3 innings. He gave up three runs on two hits with four strikeouts and four walks. Will Carter also pitched in the game.

Amari Conley led the Bulldogs with three hits including a double. Matthew Reed, Nicholas Schwing, Hunter Azemar and Andrew Dinkelacker each had two hits. Walker Long added a double.

In game two, Brenden Skirtech got the start and went the entire game. He gave up two runs on five hits with three strikeouts and one walk. Azemar led the Bulldogs with two hits including a double. Jackson Parker added a double.
