Bulldogs split two games at Meridian vs. Hinds and Meridian
MERIDIAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs split two games here Wednesday winning 12-6 over Hinds and falling 13-0 to Meridian.
Holmes begins MACCC play on Saturday at Jones at 2/5 p.m.
In game one, Cole Moudy got the start and went the distance picking up the win. He gave up six runs on three hits with four strikeouts and five walks. Nicolas Schwing and Brenden Skirtech each had three hits with Schwing have a double and Skirtech adding a double. Walker Long had a homerun and Jackson Parker had a double.
In game two, Skirtech started the game and suffered the loss. Drew Nemman and Jabari Farr also pitched in the game. Schwing and Adam Francisco had the only hits for the Bulldogs.
