SENATOBIA --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell twice to the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers, 10-5 and 3-0.
Holmes hosts Pearl River at 2 p.m. Friday.
In game one, Cole Moudy got the start and suffered the loss. He went three innings and gave up eight runs on five hits with three strikeouts and four walks. Josh Fleming went five innings and gave up two runs on five hits with six strikeouts. Hunter Azemar led the Bulldogs with three hits while Matthew Reed had two.
In game two, Holton Hartzog went the distance and gave up three runs on three hits with six strikeouts and three walks. Azemar led with a double.
