Bulldogs split with Rangers winning 10-4 and falling 7-6

SENATOBIA --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs split two MACCC games here Wednesday with the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers winning 10-4 and falling 7-6.

Holmes will play at Meridian on Friday at 1/4 p.m.

Ethan Trimble picked up the complete game win in game one. He went nine innings and gave up four runs on six hits with seven strikeouts and one walk. Hunter Azemar led the Bulldogs with two hits including a homerun. Amari Conley added a homerun while Cade Clinton and Thomas Kuhn added a double each.

In game two, John Paul Buckner went six innings and suffered the loss. He gave up seven runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and two walks. Conley, Nicolas Schwing, Xavier Myles, Kuhn and Will McClure each had one hit in the game.
