UTICA --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell to 6-3 overall here Thursday night after falling to the Hinds Community College Bulldogs, 86-80.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Jan. 5 vs. Delgado Community College at 4 p.m. You can watch the game live at holmesccmedia.com.
Hinds led 41-39 at halftime and outscored Holmes, 45-41, in the second half to preserve the win.
Tanorrio Ransburgh led the Bulldogs with 27 points. Kassim Nicholson followed with 17 points and Winford Ross had 14. Nicholson led the Bulldogs with eight rebounds.
Holmes shot 47.4 percent from the floor (27-of-57), 43.8 percent from the three-point line (7-of-16) and 70.4 percent from the free-throw line (19-of-27).
