GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 10-3 in the MACCC North Division with an 86-67 win over the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans here tonight.
Holmes travels to East Mississippi on Monday night at 6 p.m. before hosting the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers on Wednesday in Goodman.
Holmes led 34-21 in the first half before outscoring Delta 52-46 in the second half.
Kaleb Higgins led the Bulldogs with 26 points including seven three-pointers while Tyler Talley had 16 and Darrius Clark had 12.
The Bulldogs shot 42.3 percent from the floor (30-of-71), 38.2 percent from the three-point line (13-of-34) and 68.4 percent from the free throw line (13-of-19).
