GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a 56-42 win here Monday night against the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans.
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 1-3 on the season. Holmes returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. vs. Southern University-Shreveport.
Holmes led 26-23 at halftime and then outscored Mississippi Delta, 30-19, in the second half to pull out the win.
Tyler Talley led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Micah O'Guin had 10 points. Darrius Clark and Talley each finished with seven rebounds.
Holmes shot 41.7 percent from the floor (20-of-48) and 68.8 percent from the free throw line (11-of-16).
