Bulldogs fall to SW Tenn Saluqis, 78-68

MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell here Thursday night 78-68 to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Saluqis.

The game Thursday was the final game of the fall semester for the Bulldogs. Holmes, 3-8 overall, will return to action on Thursday, Jan. 6 in Summit against Southwest Mississippi Community College.

Southwest Tennessee led 41-25 at halftime. The Bulldogs outscored the Saluqis, 43-37, in the second half, but it wasn't enough.

Mason Riley led the Bulldogs in scoring with 18 points including two three-pointers and six of six from the free throw line. Ty Moore followed with 11 points and Tyler Talley had 10 points. Moore led with nine rebounds.

The Bulldogs shot 48.1 percent from the floor (26-of-54) and 35.7 percent from the three-point line (5-of-14).
